The Meehan Group was founded by Dennis J. Meehan as Meehan
Relocations, Inc. Headquartered in New York City, our firm
has been conducting move management services since June of
1983. Mr. Meehan, who has served as the firms Chief
Executive Officer since its launch, recognized a need in the
corporate community for coordination and management of the
entire relocation process. The concept of a single agency
offering the capabilities of handling all aspects of a major
corporate move was a new one in the early 80s, and it
is Mr. Meehan who is credited with devising this comprehensive
consultative approach for the relocation industry.
Armed with his extensive knowledge and practical experience
in facility move management, Mr. Meehan has carefully managed
his companys strategic growth. As the premiere relocation
consulting firm in the nation, The Meehan Groups range
of services has expanded to accommodate the increasing complexities
of asset, technology and personnel move management, encompassing
disaster recovery services and merger related activities.
With a total of five officers and 45 full-time project managers,
The Meehan Group now effectively applies its hands-on, proactive
methodologies for companies moving coast to coast, or anywhere
in between.
