Martha is
a Jungian psychotherapist, Diplomate of the American Psychotherapy
Association and certified Kripalu yoga teacher. For the past three
decades she has worked with individuals, couples and groups using
the theoretical framework of C.G. Jung to understand the unconscious
and inner images and dreams. Years of experience in designing and
implementing workshops on the wisdom of the body, writing, painting,
movement and voice, as well as workshops on dream analysis, have
taught Martha how to listen to, and respect messages from the body
and the psyche’s own messages.
Martha’s concentration for her Masters work
was in Jungian Dream Analysis, the subject of her Master’s
thesis. After graduate work she furthered her studies in Jungian
analytical training under the guidance of renowned Jungian analysts
Dr. Renee Nell and Mary Bowen. She has also studied with Michael
Conforti and Marion Woodman.
In order to stay abreast of cutting-edge thinking,
and reflecting her abiding commitment to the Jungian analytical
perspective in psychotherapy and dream analysis, Martha has participated
in seminars at Boston Jung Institute, the Assisi Conference, Cambridge
Hospital at Harvard Medical School, University of Toronto, Center
for Psychiatry in Holyoke, MA, and the Kripalu Yoga Center, where
she continues her training in body work.
Martha is profoundly dedicated to providing her clients
with a safe, non-judgmental environment, in which they can access
their inner truths and release their authentic voices, achieving
balance between body and spirit.
