My membership had lapsed, but Frayda was kind enough to send me the new members and renewals list so that if I saw an interesting listing, I could re-join with the hope of meeting that woman.

On a Friday, I saw an interesting listing, sent in my dues and my request to have my full profile sent to her and hers to me.

Now, on Saturday, it is about 3 PM and I am looking at another night home alone, crying in my beer.

All of a sudden, my fax goes on, her profile comes out.

In order to make things happen as quickly as possible, Frayda has thoughtfully faxed, rather than mailed the response.

There is a phone number. I call. She answers. We talk. We hit it off.

In her home town, that night, there is an erotic art show opening. I invite her to meet me there. She says, " yes".

Suddenly, no more tears, but rather, an unbelievably exciting, romantic adventure; a blind date with a mysterious woman at an erotic art show. I get there, and she turns out to be one of the most charming and attractive women I've ever seen and she is smiling at me!

For me it was love at first sight.

We viewed the show. She said she liked me too. We have another date coming up. I sure hope this works out in the long run.

But already, LifeWorks has given me a peak romantic experience.
